Legal Lens: Viewing Law Through Ingrum Expertise

Ingrum Law Firm, PLLC Building 117 East Main Street, Gallatin, TN, 37066

Does it matter that our law firm is involved in our community?  It certainly matters to us.  We have deep roots in Gallatin and Sumner County, and that historic integrity is important in handling private matters.  Being committed to community service in Gallatin and Sumner County, Tennessee is a point of emphasis for our firm.

Your case is important to you and it may be one of a sensitive nature. Therefore, it is imperative that you are represented by attorneys who have their finger on the pulse of the community where the litigation is taking place. You need attorneys that understand the local legal landscape. This will save you time, money, and heartache.

We have made volunteering and community service a part of our law firm’s culture. We are a part of the Gallatin, Sumner County, and Middle Tennessee community and we feel the need to give back to various charities and causes in the area.

One such cause is the Gallatin Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Shamrock Run 5k & 10K to benefit K-12 education in Gallatin, Tennessee. For the past several years, Ingrum Law has been a sponsor of this event and attorney, Jay Ingrum, has volunteered his time and has served as the DJ and emcee of the Shamrock Run. Also, attorneys and several members of our law firm staff have walked or run in the 5k or 10k. Over 500 participants from the community helped to raise over $10,000.00 per year for the Chamber Education Foundation which will then disburse those funds to support innovative educational programs at various schools in Gallatin. Supporting public education in our community is very important to us.

Another cause that Ingrum Law supports is Greater Gallatin, Inc. and its 3rd Thursday on Main free concert series. The law firm has been a loyal sponsor since these free concerts began and we will be supporting Greater Gallatin, Inc.’s efforts again in 2024. Greater Gallatin, Inc. supports and promotes historic, downtown Gallatin and its various businesses.

Ingrum Law is a member of the downtown business community and we want to see the downtown area remain a vibrant and vital part of Gallatin and Sumner County.

A final example of Ingrum Law’s commitment to community service is our involvement in the Gallatin Lion’s Club. Over the years Jay Ingrum has been a member of the Gallatin Lion’s Club. The Lions Club’s mission is to be “knights for the blind'' by helping to eradicate blindness. The Lions Club collects eyeglasses and lenses, conducts eye screenings, pays for eye care for the indigent, and donates time and money to various charities that care for those with vision impairment. Ingrum Law attorney, Jay Ingrum, served as Lions Club President in 2005-2006, and he was named the Lion of the Year in 2003.
