Legal Lens: Viewing Law Through Ingrum Expertise

All of the attorneys at Ingrum Law are required to attend fifteen hours of continuing legal education (CLE) every year. Further, our Rule 31 Listed Family Law Mediators have to attend continuing education specifically tailored for mediators. The law changes every single year on January 1st and July 1st. That is why I always tell everyone to not trust legal advice from someone that is not a licensed attorney in Tennessee.
There is so much law to keep up with from the statutes listed in the Tennessee Code Annotated to the Tennessee caselaw that is decided at the Tennessee Court of Appeals and at the Tennessee Supreme Court each year. There is an old saying, "The attorney who represents himself or herself has a fool for a client." This means that you should not represent yourself. You are too close to the situation mentally and emotionally to remain objective, unemotional and above the fray. That is why you should always seek the advice of independent counsel.
If you have a legal question or a legal issue, then you need to speak to a licensed, trained attorney. Give Ingrum Law a call at 615-452-6613! #IngrumLaw #LegalEducation #TennesseeLaw
