Austin's Legal Journey
A proud native of Kingsport, Tennessee, Austin began his distinguished career after earning his Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law in 2015. Before that, he achieved a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and History, graduating cum laude, and an Associate of Applied Sciences Degree in Construction Engineering Technology.
Austin’s passion for public service was evident during his law school years. He worked in the Florida State College of Law Public Interest Law Center’s Children’s Advocacy Division, defending the rights of underprivileged children. An internship with the Davidson County District Attorney’s Office in Nashville sharpened his courtroom skills and deepened his expertise in criminal law.
Legal Experience
Since his admission to the Tennessee State Bar in December 2015, Austin has worked with families across Middle Tennessee in emotionally challenging cases such as divorce, adoption, paternity actions, and contempt proceedings. His focus on domestic law has been complemented by experience in criminal defense and probate law, making him a well-rounded advocate ready to tackle diverse legal challenges.
