Legal Lens: Viewing Law Through Ingrum Expertise
I have always told our attorneys and staff that we are "working to live" instead of "living to work!" I mean that too! The original reason that I chose to go to law school is that I wanted to be able to have a career where I could be off from work at Thanksgiving and Christmas with my wife and children.
I thought about it, and I thought about my father, Bob Ingrum, who was a prominent trial lawyer for forty-five (45) years, being able to be off work to spend time with our family when I was a child. So, I decided that I would apply to law school and the rest is history. Here I am, almost twenty-four (24) years later, enjoying practicing law and enjoying my family! When it comes to our attorneys and staff here at Ingrum Law, I want them to be off with their families when I am off with my family. If I wouldn't want to be in the office during the holidays, then why would they?
This family first approach to work-life balance informs all that we do here at Ingrum Law. I always try to think the children first in every case whether it be a divorce case, a criminal case, a civil case, or any other type of case. If I always put the children first, and if my client does as well, then we will always been in good shape in the eyes of the judge or the jury hearing the case.
